They're swinging back http://www.authenticlosangeleschargers.com/cheap-desmond-king-jersey , picking up wins and even attracting celebrities. On Wednesday, superstar rapper Snoop Dogg pulled up in his tour bus and made a surprise visit to practice.Bow wow!But while the Browns may have gone from being the NFL's saddest team to one of this season's biggest surprises, coach Hue Jackson warned his players that their fame can be fleeting.Beware of Snoop Dogg and others."A lot of guys see him on the sideline, and his message was, 'Man, you guys are doing some good things, some really good things.' I thought that was great," said Jackson, who has known the rapper since his days at USC. "At the same time, there are going to be a lot of people that want to come be on this wagon when the wagon gets rolling, and we are going to circle the wagon."I know that because I did not see any of these people the last two years. I am still the same guy. I still knew all of these people prior to this year. We are not going to get caught up in any of that. Our players won't, and that is my message to them. We are going to work, and we are going to continue to get better and see where we are."Right now, the Browns believe they're contenders. And their 12-9 overtime win against a solid Baltimore team on Sunday has the rest of the league looking differently at the Browns (2-2-1), who became just the second team to lose all 16 games last season. They've been competitive against a tough schedule, played in three OT games, and if not for a couple of bad bounces and breaks, could be unbeaten."They were a scary team last year," said Los Angeles Chargers coach Anthony Lynn, who will face the Browns on Sunday. "I know that they did not win a game http://www.chargersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-mike-pouncey-jersey , but you saw them on the come — you could see it coming. You knew that it was just a matter of time. They have done a good job. The personnel department and coaches, they have done a good job."And, of course, the Browns have Baker Mayfield. The rookie quarterback has pumped life into Cleveland's franchise and fan base. The only person not surprised by the Browns' quick turnaround is the player most responsible for it happening"I have known that the Browns were not bad since the second I stepped foot into this franchise," said the No. 1 overall pick, whose confidence is spreading through Cleveland's locker room like a flu bug."We had a special team from the get-go. We believe in this team that we have. Management has put together a great group of guys."Mayfield was talking a big game long before the Browns picked him. Back at the NFL Combine in February, Mayfield said he was the man to change Cleveland's fortunes. If any player was going to turn around a team that went 1-31 over two years, it was him.His opinion has changed."I said it back at the Combine when everybody said I was a short quarterback that could not do much, I said if anybody is going to do it, I believed in myself to do that," he said. "That is something that I carry with me, and I hope our guys believed in themselves as well."If there was any lingering doubt about Mayfield, he may have changed some minds with his performance in his second career start — and first at home — against the Ravens. He passed for 342 yards against one of the league's stingiest defenses, and in the closing minutes of OT, began a drive at his 5 and moved the Browns into position for rookie Greg Joseph's game-winning field goal.Big plays. Big player."Man, I mean just a winner," said Browns safety Damarious Randall. "That's something that he's always been at Oklahoma and just somebody that can overcome a lot of things. Because he was a walk-on twice and he ended up being the Heisman Trophy winner, so just to have a guy like that you just know that he's always going to try to put the team in position to win game. You've just got to love it."Randall knows what a good team looks like. He spent three seasons in Green Bay before coming to Cleveland in a trade. When he arrived the Browns had reached a low point. They're rising quickly."We feel like we're a contender," Randall said. "We feel like we're one of the best teams up in the league." A couple of late-game missed kicks proved to be the difference between making the playoffs and staying home last season for the Los Angeles Chargers. With a chance to end this exhibition season on a winning note, Roberto Aguayo delivered and made his case to be the Chargers kicker when the season starts.Aguayo kicked a 26-yard field goal on the final play of the exhibition season to lead Los Angeles to a 23-21 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night."To hit a game-winner Youth Kyzir White Jersey , it counts," Aguayo said. "I'm glad our team was able to get up close and give me a shot."Aguayo is in a battle with Caleb Sturgis to win the kicking job for the Chargers (2-2) and got the opportunity for the winner against San Francisco. Coach Anthony Lynn had rotated his kickers during the game, with both making 36-yard field goals and extra points before Aguayo got the final chance after a 63-yard kick return by Detrez Newsome set up the winning drive."Both guys have kicked extremely well the last couple of weeks," Lynn said. "It's been a healthy competition."It was a sweet moment for Aguayo, who was a second-round pick by Tampa Bay in 2016 but quickly flamed out. He missed nine field goals as a rookie and then was waived by the Buccaneers last summer. He made all three field goals this preseason."I feel like I've done great," he said. "When I've had opportunities, I've done well. I'm really proud of myself from where I've come since last year. It's been a long road and a long journey."The kick spoiled a storybook night for San Francisco's Jack Heneghan. He was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Dartmouth as a camp arm for the Niners (1-3), joining the franchise his father, Lal, used to work for as a lawyer.Heneghan got almost no snaps in team drills in practice this summer and didn't play in the first three exhibition games. But with most of the regulars sitting out Thursday, coach Kyle Shanahan gave him a chance and Heneghan made the most of it. He went 8 for 9 for 58 yards and ran twice for 17 yards to lead the two TD drives."I grew up watching the Niners, going to games back in Candlestick," Heneghan said. "I've always been a big fan of the team. I would have been happy to have an NFL opportunity as a rookie anywhere. It was that much more exciting to do it at home in front of friends and family."Jeff Wilson scored on a 2-yard run and Jeremy McNichols had a 6-yard TD run with 2:58 to play.Cardale Jones threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Andre Patton , and Terrell Watson scored on a 4-yard run on the final play of the first half for the Chargers.CAMEO APPEARANCESWhile most of the regulars got the night off, two defensive starters got on the field for brief appearances for the 49ers. Defensive lineman Solomon Thomas had two tackles for losses on the opening drive before calling it a night. Thomas had missed time this summer with a concussion.Linebacker Reuben Foster, who left last week's game with a concussion, played three series and knocked Detrez Newsome for a 6-yard loss after a catch. Foster will sit out the first two games with a suspension following two offseason arrests.UNDER PRESSUREChristopher Landrum had two sacks in the first half for the Chargers, including one that forced a fumble by Nick Mullens and set up a field goal for Los Angeles.ROSTER PUSHSeventh-round draft pick Richie James Jr. delivered another strong performance in his drive to make San Francisco's roster as a reserve receiver. He caught seven passes for 80 yards and added a 23-yard punt return. He finished the preseason with 15 catches for 192 yards and a TD."I'm a playmaker," James said. "That's what I do. I come in and make plays when I get the ball in my hands."NATIONAL ANTHEMAll players on both teams appeared to stand during the playing of the national anthem.INJURIESChargers: WR Artavis Scott left with an ankle injury.49ers: FB Malcolm Johnson left with a foot injury.NEXT UPChargers: Host Kansas City for season opener Sept 9.49ers: Visit Minnesota for season opener Sept. 9.
